passions

The lenghth of a beat and the sound of a voice

With melodic tone and soothing wave

a rest here, a rest there, an eightenth note run

a crowd may applaud the success

of the singer in that sparkling dress

a movement of emotion and poise

the music can none compare

to the song that started it all

a melody within

and a passionate fire

for the sound of music

a true gift from God
