The Past
I close my eyes,
i see the young
They move along
holding hands to a human,
who is purely dark
She has a special name,
one which I cannot say
She’s supposed to love,
her eyes are closed,
love cannot be shown
They run with might,
never out run the pain
Truth comes out and our hearts seep away
We hide from who she truly is,
Smiles are gone
Time moves us apart,
days, nights, weeks and months
Moving on is what needs to be done,
time, space and scars are what have come
Together we’ll move on.
