In the Past

I metamorphasized,

Right infront of my own eyes,

Something doesn't feel right.

I let everyone in,

I gave them a chance to win,

And I don't know why.

I used to be so shy,

Couldn't look you in the eye,

Felt like I could cry.

Now everythings changed,

Nothing really feels the same,

I guess the pressure is to blame.

And I promised,

Myself,

I wouldn't let anyone change me,

And I promised,

Myself,

I'd always stay true to me.

I'm not the real me,

I let everyone change me,

I'm not the girl I used to be,

I miss my friends in family,

I would've never done that in the past,

I wish I could go back and change all of that,

I would never done that in the past,

I would've never done that.
