The Past and The Future

The Past

Let it be the flaw-filled past.

Leave it behind it is history.

Your past is not who you are.

It’s who you’ve been,

where you’ve gone,

and who you’ve seen.

Let bygones be bygones.

Antiquity just that.

The past but a distant memory.

Keep moving on.

Pave the track.

Don’t let yourself be held back.

Hold your past in the back of your mind,

and begin each day with a reset mind.

The Future

You cannot foresee the future

But you can craft it to a path

Actions lead to reactions

Reactions lead to change

The future is not set in stone

Destiny cannot be foretold

The mumbo jumbo of prophecies,

But a self-fulfilling path

The future is not set in stone

So go on pave your own path.
