Past the Facade

Look upon the world and what do you see

A bright ray of sun or perhaps a dull bee

But there is more to behold than what meets the eye

There is more to everything right under this sky

For the rays of the sun spread glorious heat

As life in bees cause wings to flutter and beat

Now look in the mirror at your own self reflection

And see not a freak but a face of perfection

The world that we know is not boring and bleak

Instead it’s a place that is awesome and neat

You’re an awesome person, I know it is true

Just look past the façade to see the real you
