The Past That Has Gone So Fast
Laying here thinking of the olden ways, wanting to go back to the preschool ways. All I wanted was to grow up fast, now all I want is to go to the past. I miss the days when I could fly to the sky, never imagined it could be so high. When you reach the age of seventeen, you'll wish you could be just a dream. Not yet born and not yet grown. Thought of as just a speck, when your parents sat down and thought a sec. When I was growing up with two loving brothers and my father and mother, I wanted only fun and love. Now all I need is that fun and love. As I sit here thinking of the past, that went so fast, I hope for nothing more, than a simple wish that I was only four.
