The Past is With ME

I wish I were different

Liked different things

Done different things

Acted differently

But I'm not

And that makes me regret

I have caused too much trouble

I should've been better

A better child

Friend

Athlete

Scholar

Artist

Anything

But myself

I shouldn't feel this way

So that leads to guilt

I know that there's a path for me

But I don't like it's ruts

I wish I loved myself

Like I can love others

But I can't

Not now
