Past Memories

I look back on the past, the good times and the bad, my triumphs and failures, the things I never had. But I won’t say I gave up, or let go of my dreams, I said what I thought, so it’s exactly as it seems. I remember the times, I wanted to get away but what I wished for the most, was a brighter day. As I watched life pass me by, I was as still as a tree, I thought of the pain, the longing to be free. As I entered my life, I was right, and someday soon, I will see and enter the light.
