Past Pain

Going up for a smoke Two guys ahead Then there’s fire and pain, Blinding pain, burning and boiling of flesh. Blackness of unconsciousness. Pain of recovery Burns all over Hearing loss, Damaged body. Learning the cause A Jap kamikaze, Killed the men Who were closer To the door Leading to the deck.
