The Path Of Life

I walk down the road

Looking back at where I was,

Seeing the changes I’ve made

Since I started my walk.

I’ve grown with the path

Learned to turn right or left,

Sometimes losing myself

But I always found my way back.

This is the path of life

Of screams and schemes,

Of hopes and dreams

This is the path of life;

With something new every step I take.

Now I still remember when I started this path

My heart beat fast,

Unsure of what each twist and turn

Would lead to at last.

This is the path of life

Of my past life,

And I’ll keep walking the path

The path of life.

Sometimes I turn around and see how far I’ve gone

Smiling as I cry,

This is the path of life

And I walk with my dreams.

So I hope one day you’ll find the path,

And walk among its hopes and dreams.

One day you’ll be here smiling,

One day soon it will find you

And you’ll walk along,

The path of life.

With each turn something else lies

And I hope you see them all,

Yes the path of life is a journey little one,

A journey that never seems to end.
