Path to Nowhere

I'm walking yet I can't move.
Each step requires more effort than the last.
I can't stop, even though I'm going nowhere.
My heart is constantly torn,
trapped between two realities and it can't chose which one to believe in
because each on has its own truths.
How then do I know which way is right?
On one hand there's the life that promises safety and comfort
while the other will give me love and adventure.
How can this divided heart be expected to last with the weight of such a choice?
Is it possible to chose both?
How could I?
How could I put them through that? How could I betray them or let them down.
But I can't motivate myself to do anything about it.
So, I'll sit here. Sit here in my utter despair, quietly suffering in the vanity of choice making.
I'll take the pain so that they don't have to.
