The Path We Tread

The people of this earth Have the power in their hand To shape the ground they live on, And dictate where they stand That's what makes this world so beautiful; It's what makes each human unique. It's what has caused us to create wonders And create new life as we speak So I ask, why sink in the negative When you can be lifted in all the light? Why see solely the darkness When there is so much love in sight? If you want to make a change, you can! That's why this world is ours. That's what makes this life so awesome Why we can't waste a single hour. So instead of hating the steps you take, Change your course instead. Live in the love that is spoken here; Make happiness the path you tread The earth is awesome because we make it; If it's not, then we can change it. We can shape the ground we live on And dictate what we make it.
