Paths cross Paths diverge Same as friends Sometimes same as family When paths cross Life changes When paths diverge Life changes once again Which helps you more? When paths are crossed? When they are diverged? Or both? Which one harms you more? When paths are crossed? When they are diverged? Or both? Paths cross and diverge Sometimes you don’t get a choice Life changes forever no matter what It changes you. You hope for the best Doesn’t always work out Sometimes it does though Changes are forever in memory Paths crossing Paths diverging What happens is ingrained in the head Life has now changed. You have a choice You can deal with it Or you don’t deal with it The choice is yours. But paths always change just like life.
