Paths (Because I love you)
The power of love
Is one that mystifies
Theres No greater force above
It comes as no surprise
The rhyming shall hencforth be diminished
Because love is not a game
Love has two paths
We each choose who we walk with hand in hand
When we come to these cross roads
We pray our aswers don't differ
To part ways is sad
So we don't
And thats what most think love is, staying with that person
till the very end, never leaving their side.
The only problem, is if you're not careful,
You're only along for the ride.
For when you truly love someone
You are not afraid to let them go
Let them dream
Let them be who they want to be
So when you come to those cross roads, if your answer differs.
No matter how much the pain,
when it's true love you follow your hearts.
You may not be on that same path
You may get scared, worried, feel like vomiting.
Just know that when your love is real, all two paths have the same destination
