Pathway ...

Proverbs 14:12

12 There is a way that seems right to a person,
but its end is the way that leads to death.

Words of riches carved in life

to the depths of understanding.

Who are we to decide

what we want so underhanded?

Decisions of life misunderstood

so death rules until now.

The hearts of men ignoring truth

in love with that fatal flaw.

Feeling good by not paying dues

as decisions … make so much sense.

A golden calf … blinds their view

and the glitter makes them dense.

Abort what lives and postpone what dies

a contradiction and so senseless.

But they can’t see … who survives

and these lies leave them defenseless.
