THE PATHWAY OF TRUTH

There lies a serenity, in the inner stem of my heart. I visit it there less and less. To navigate between the vines, strips me unclothed and in debt. I harbor recoiled pain. I seek relief in my cloud of smoke. I've used up all my veins. I've banished trust in others. My mind is scrambled as to what is real. I have struggled to move past the barbed wire. I have struggled to even feel. Countless armour to withhold the silence, my experiences are far too real. My light is what battles my dark. My dark is an injected escape. I crave it on my conscious plate. The shades and shadows undulate. After so much time has past, I am lost but barely found. It begins to create an infection, one to surely put me in the ground. Wasted time and timeless actions. I can not find the change. Change in me and change in them. I can sympathize for the crude distractions. Excuses for why the serenity is unseen, and for deep inside my heart. Tangled and weaved, but it still does exist. Getting to and from that place, can ultimately shred your skin. Broadening our inner fears, so naturally we resist.
