patient power

lots of choices lay ahead

and here I am

riding it out like

a wave that doesnt want to break so soon

seeing its fate just upon the shore

seconds away it hangs, before crashing down

and retreating to be filtered back in

just to have to build itself back up

and be broken on the ground again

what if the wave escaped far out into

the middle of the ocean

where it leaped and surged

and built itself with other tired waves

and waited and hired and finally came

roaring towards the shore taking

the land by surprise
