Patterns

It doesn’t bother me

Maybe that’s why it does

I care too much

Or not enough

I obsess

Or not focus at all

I make too many decisions

Or not nearly as many as I should have

I dream a whole life

Just to wake up with nothing

I blink away the tears

I blink away the time

I blink until I have nothing

But, patterns always repeat, don’t they?
