Pause

With lights aplenty and shadows there too,

the world's a stage with a play starring you.

You've practiced your lines and made no mistake,

yet something unseen just seems bound to break.

Your motions appealing, crowd clapping too,

the play's almost over ... and so are you.

Pause. Wait. Your mind? Wiped. Where are you?

Seems you've befallen some divine snafu.

With dread all about, a breath you need take,

for falling too far grants error its cake.

Regain composure. Remember your line.

The worst long over, carry on just fine.
