Pause Please

It is that moment.

The moment you forget how to beath.

The moment the ground beneath you is stripped.

The moment you feel the weight of the shock echo through your bones.

When time and the words in the space around you halt.

When you do not know which way is up.

When you heart is still- waiting for fulfillment, begging to stay afloat.

It drowns in the emptiness that screams so loud you are deafened.

It invades everything safe you know... you knew.

It is the second that you do not have to think... vacance does the thinking for you.

It is the moment of no return.
