Of someone's existence in the world
Have it mean nothing to you,
And then mean the world to you.
All it takes is one magical kiss.
It is the kind that changes your life forever.
It may not mean a happy ending,
Only it affects your life in a big way.
The story begins with bugs, butterflies.
One moment you are looking into eyes,
And realize for the first time they're blue.
The smile you have never noticed,
Is suddenly directed at you, and you
In return, are mirroring it.
Then it happens, your life is changed.
You spend all your time thinking of eyes;
The eyes that looked into your soul.
You spend your time hoping,
Hoping that smile will shine at you.
From that smile blooms a friendship.
You know you can trust that smile
And the owner who displays it.
You don't know what the future holds.
All you know is the smile will always shine
The owner will always care for you.
