The Payne's of the Past

You took the first swing

And I took the last.

I don’t know what to do,

I can’t flee from the past.

I feel so bad,

I feel like trash,

I want to run away

But, I’m not the Flash.

I see you crying,

And I’m over here dying.

I don’t know what to do,

I’m trying to get to you.

I don’t know what to say,

But this will end today.

I have choices to make,

Which road should I take?

I’m sorry for what I’ve done.

I will be a good son.

I’ve said what I wanted to say.

I hope you have a wonderful day.

Even if, sometimes you make me mad…

I still love you Dad!!!
