"For Peace"

Walk with me with constraints As I endeavor to be a part of What never really once was As complete unification twas.. The night before we were captured, And brought aboard to "Netherland". Sing with me, the songs of our captivity The lyrics of our liberty, Which are still in demand; That once was our ancestors hope And is now dealt towards Every man's hand. A song of peace And not scrutiny, A place where colors don't change Nor the sovereignty of our "God". It is, what it is You are, who your are, And the secrets of what you are Lies deep within his bosom and purposes The peace we all search for, Are within his horizon. So how do I pray for peace That foreign peace amongst my fellow man? How can we justify the death of those Who fought to no end, The battle of which we all perceived to win; When my brothers and sisters are still at war For a power that's not within their reach, Nor beginning, nor end; Trying to belong To what was once my family Is now my mother's lover, And my father's lust... And they forgot "all" about me! Yet, I'm expected to contribute a peace Which cannot be implemented In a house without a home; A citizen without a community To thrive on. Hence the poor Still poor, Carved by the craftsman of death, sweat, and tears.... Where my "motherland" misses her children, Longed for, bled for, and died for, Without the chance of ever telling them "Good- Bye". Where the flow of peaceful waters Gave up her dead, And "Gorreh" was left standing, As a shadow Amongst the shore's hedges. And the anger of my kinsmen Were left to feed upon the swines hedges, And given a "new" name Identified as a "prodical" people, And paid the minimum of the earth's wages For ages to come. Still the atmosphere Beyond the tears and fears of many; Built a country, Condusive to their likings, Yet embraces the souls of our kindness, And yet...they still refuses to speak to me! Somebody please explain; What's the "peace" we all search for, The rock of each heartbeat to be admired, The peace in which we all long for And one day will find. A peace that's centered in "love" But until justified, Will only be the "Peace of our desire". Unify.....
