Peace

Give peace to my heart.

For in this world it takes a form of art to keep away the clouds so dark.

I'm surrounded by shadows so deep that all I can seem to do is weep.

I don't understand why all these demands seem to crash so hard on me!

I just need to see why dark nights need to be so bleak.

If I am remade then why am I so broken?

In the Bible you have spoken.

You said you'd heal the brokenhearted.

You said you'd bind up my wounds.

My wounds need your touch in part.

So please Lord, give peace to my heart.
