Peace

Salt on my wounds Depression looms Constant cries So many lies Full of tears Ever lingering fears Darkness surrounds Deaf without sound Emotion pain Never-ending rain Bring on the flood One last drudge Death has arrived No longer deprived Silence and cease Finally eternal peace That's what I thought But my thinking was shot Death wasn't sweet It was incredibly dark and bleak Read my words and don't be like me Stay alive, stay free Loneliness fades Light pervades
