Peace

I am happy as a cloud
as loud as a rainbow
as soft as a breeze

the lights of my mind flicker
as do the shimmer of the leaves
playing with the lights of day

dreams seem to smile
at the greens, blues, and whites
that cover and dot the out stretched landscape
my floral field
my grass

courting wild flowers

for once in my life,

peace.

perhaps its the river
talking to the lilies
green and still
flowing into a crisp, dazzling, pond
reflecting the sun
his rays kiss the waters
and hug the land I lay upon

perhaps its the grass
who leaves whisper a song
brushing one another
giggling by my ear
like two in a train station
the winds that kiss the ground
and hug the sturdy branches
ever so softly brush my hair
as the day whispers on

perhaps its the little butterflies
dancing with the bees
wings floating gracefully
from bud to bloom
each one kissing a Flower

for it's sweet nectar
still hugging the air I breath in softly

whatever it may be
my dreams seem to smile awhile
at the greens, blues, and whites
that cover and dot the out stretched landscape
my floral field
my grass

courting wild flowers
and for once in my life
I see,
I hear,
I feel,
peace.
