Peace

01/31/16

Stranded and alone, no security at sea

Alone and stranded, no security I can see

Times are hard when alone is the best place to be

But being stranded and alone is insanity without my peace

Peace is a meditation of my mind, creativity to say the least

Some people need food or wine to keep their minds at ease

All that is is a waste of time with anger bursting at the seams,

All I need is a greater time to replace such emotion with peace

Peace blesses my mind, the matter of my soul

But it doesn’t matter the latter because I have no soul

Without my peace I cannot brave the winds of sea or land

Because without my peace how can I dare hope to think or dream,

or give into better demand
