Peace of Mind

If I became stranded on a deserted island

there's one thing I'd surely need,

that is the peace of mind that comes

from being alone and at ease.

To be ok with lonliness

not needing company,

to keep you sane and happy

would keep my mind from leaving me.

Appreciating solitude

has brought me peace of mind,

and with it stranded on that island

I could survive a long time.
