Peace of mind

To be here in this corner

And to be without protection

I turned on the road

And changed direction

Becoming who i am

And what i should do

Controlling my own mind

Feels like i'm going too soon

I can't understand

In my own mind

Why i can't be alone

To face what i find

The protection my support gives

And the bridge they built

I wanted to go in the water

So they gave me stilts

I feel like I am flying

And I hope I don't fall

But I receive peace

Knowing there is help I can call

Peace of mind

And hope for me

The light at the end of the tunnel

Is all I can see
