Peace in Poetry

In poetry I recognize an everlasting peace

Where my heartfelt emotions are released.

I express my current feelings from within,

For in poetry I know just where to begin.

Writing allows me to communicate,

And to others I may perhaps relate.

Poetry has taught me to have greater self esteem,

As perseverance allows me to overcome my dreams.
