The Pearl

Juana says, “Hurl the pearl into the sea!”

So it will not harm their family.

Kino in greed says “No,

I will never let it go!

It will help our family so dear,

You do not have to fear.”

Time passes very quickly by.

Finally Kino does say “Aye,

Juana, it seems you were wise

I should have taken your advice.”

Now that the pearl has been stolen,

Maybe our lives can now be golden.
