Pecularities of the Soul

I am peculiar and insane

I wonder why they come for me

I hear the shadow's whispers

I see the devils close around me

I want them to stop approaching

I am peculiar and insane

I pretend to be a silvertongue

I feel strong and powerful

I touch the characters of books to protect me

I worry they will disappear

I cry when they leave me

I am peculiar and insane

I understand they don't want to hurt me

I say that I'm not insane

I dream of a world with all pecularities

I try to keep sane

I hope humans will understand one day

I am peculiar and insane
