Peerless Sight

Your eyes, a beautiful kind of brown, Is the only way I can decipher your emotions. They’re pools of caramel, where I drown In your mischievous and mysterious potions. Everyone sees happiness beneath those lashes But not everyone knows the real feeling underneath it. I know that your stare turns into ashes When you look at me, but you quickly recover your wit. Everyone knows you as the happiest girl in the planet But I know otherwise, and truly know the person in front of me Your stare is like stone, like an indestructible rock, like granite Around others but I will try to decipher them with the best of my ability I would love to know all those well hidden secrets And be allowed to let you free those droplets.
