Pen and Paper

They’re best friends and always will be; The paper and pen. You can’t find one without the other; Silly paper and pen One sits blankly awaiting company, And the other does as well. Until the pen glides beautifully across, As lovely as a bell. Delicately, the pen dances, With the paper across the desk. One complimenting the other, Like a performance- burlesque. When they’re done, They go their separate ways. Until again they’ll dance together, On another beautiful day.
