Pen and Paper

Words words and more words, To the average human there just words, But to a poet, They can take you to a world so unique, You would never have thought you'd know it, More beautiful than any antique, Is the real world of a poet. For once they grab the pen and paper, Reality becomes vapor, The person the outside world sees disappears, Like a vanishing puppeteer, And the real poet, Is no longer hidden hopelessly, But unleashed, Like a wild beast, The poet is set free, Like a never ending sea, That is, until the pen and paper are set down again.
