The Pen Or The Sword?

The teacher, robust and very wise, was endowing the seed of truth through his words,

"mightier than the sword, the pen is" said while he clutched his sword."the sword can kill, take away a life, the pen... can take about a thousand"

The pupil, enlightened with knowledge and wisdom, boldy questioned:

" But master, surely the pen cannot strip the soul out of a body, but the sword does.

"If pens were mightier than the sword, wouldn't they be used instead of swords?"

The wise teacher, embodied with the being of truth, and perception answered:

"The sword kills, The pen lies, kills, fools those without open minds,

Those away from the truth, acceptance, which are the fools, kill in fights,

But the brave and smart are those, who seek no fight but just peace"

The pupil. full of questions, implied:

" Then, is he braver, the one who enters the battle with the pen and not the sword?"

The teacher finally said:

" Braver is he who enters the battle with a poem, than a pen or a sword"
