Pencil on paper

Pencil on paper

Fingers on keys

Letters to Letters

More words please

Let me write you a story

Let me spin you a tale

I will teach you of glory

Legends hidden behind veils.

I will help you connect

I will write so you can read

I will speak so you can hear

Write a picture so you can see.

Pencil on Paper

Fingers on keys

Letters to letters

Words flow with ease

A dry summer air

hot on your face.

Tendrils of sun

on skin so fair.

A cold winter wind

That bites on your nose

The chill on your ears

as you stand bitterly alone

A cool spring breeze

That flows through your hair

Promises of rebirth

are felt in the air

A transitional fall wind

and a flurry of colors

Keeps your skin cool

but theres a warmth hidden under

Can you feel these moments?

I've written just for you?

Connect the dots

Like writing has connected me

and you.
