Penelope's Suitor

I have been waiting for over three years,

For Penelope to maybe choose me,

Just chillin' in her house drinking my beers,

It takes away the pain oh golly gee,

Odysseus is gone and she is sad,

She sits in her house keeping us waiting,

I think she's weaving a cloth for her dad,

This is something we are all hating,

She has a son and he is a real pest,

Thank god he is going away for now,

That boy is going on an endless quest,

To find his dad and he doesn’t know how,

Her son is now gone and here is my chance,

To prove to her that I sure am the best,

If her son comes back with his big boy pants,

I will smite him and will lay him to rest,

For some reason we have all gotten word,

That Odysseus is back for our blood,

And so is his son, what a little turd,

But it’s just a beggar covered in mud,

Now is my time for me to prove myself,

I must string this bow to show I’m the best,

And if I succeed I’ll be in great wealth,

Now I go and put my skills to the test,

Next thing I know there’s chaos about me,

My friends being slaughtered someone please help,

The king has returned and kills us with glee,

Now is my time, I’ll let out my last yelp.
