Peninsulas

I’m only three-fourths, It’s not that great But it’s not like I feel any shame or hate I just want to stay like this. I don’t think I can change the way I look, So I have to remain like this. Doesn't matter to me I’ll just take in everything of my view out towards the sea. I somewhat dislike it, But it doesn't matter how I feel. Especially since I focus best Through what they can see off of me. Maybe I don’t like it But it keeps us whole I still give some good parts, Off to my side of the world. When they want to leave. I’ll have the most ships, I’ll have the best beach Closest to the heat. How dare they say I am not complete! Okay, I hate this, Those other states are all so basic. But us peninsulas, were different Not squares, but shaped in different places. Only three sides leaned against the edge You won’t see it in our faces, But on our surface were the same. We can all maintain the same basis. You want to isolate me, like squares are all sacred. I may only be a piece of land, But your ideas toward me seem to contain hatred. You're in your big group alone, and you really need to face it, That the faster we come together, The better it is for our nation. So yes it is hate. For once i want to get this straight. You push me away with all your weight, Separate me from the other states. So I hate being a part, And I hate working for them, And I hate doing more, But I also hate not fitting in.
