Penny for your thoughts,
A nickel for feeling
Like you’re here when you’re not.
Penny for a poem,
A dime for a walk,
Quarter for a dinner
Where we can sit and talk.
Penny for a poem,
A dollar for your love
So I can finally
Have something to write of.
