Pensacola


I. Dew every morning while the sky is still mauve, an exquisite glisten visits the green fingertips of the front lawn. II. Eating an Orange crisp, clean smell of citrus. pulp bursts like tiny balloons between teeth. tongue searches for smoothness of a seed. III. On the Last Day of Vacation, It Rains lightning lies coiled in the sky’s dark cave, then strikes the swelling belly of the gulf. cellophane waves stumble ashore.
