People

One thing I cannot live without,

Is the people who surround me.

My greatest fear is being alone, no doubt

so keeping the people I love close to me is key.

People have always been there

through all the ups and the downs.

And I know at times some might have an evil glare,

But they are their own reason for their frowns.

Who one surrounds them self with is their decision,

and I like my choices so far.

There is no need for any division,

people are just people; even if they drive a fancy car.

But on this island, I only need,

those people who bring me joy.

And I know if we all agreed,

those people could be anyone; even a farm boy.

People are the greatest form of my happiness,

So there is no room for any sappiness.
