People

(poems go here) people look at me and they see nothing, they act as if i dont exist in this world. my head is spinning in a big twirl. they pick on me they call me names, i cry at night to hide the pain. as i look around there is nothing to gain. people can be so cruel, they look adown on us as if we were the fool. as i sit here and hide from the cries i get up and i must face them on the inside. i push through all this torment and pain, in the end i know i will gain. as i put a beautiful smile on my face, i know everything will be okay.

i wrote this poem two years ago in english class, i was bored, so i took out a sheet of paper and wrote People. my friend was being bullied but she never told anybody but me, she wanted to kill herself. i didnt know that bullying could hurt someone so much, i told her the good she has done over the years, and now she doesnt care what people say. that is what inspired me to write this poem to overcome bullying and loving yourself the right way.
