People

People watch me passing by,
I see them hear them watch them fly.
They run to here and run to there,
Too fast too slow sans burden of care.
I sit through life and watch them die,
It’s life or death but never a tie.
Hearts of gold, hearts of cold,
Glad or sad, endings untold.
