People Like Me

They say it's hard for people like me to succeed They say it's because we're a minority They say it's because we don't really try They say it's because we're all just...waiting to die They say the chances of me getting in are slim They say I'd be better hanging out at the prison gym They say these things because ignorance is bliss But I say that those words aren't something that I'll miss While I'm busy making a brighter future for myself I'll be busy...so I'll just put those comments on the shelf.
