Watching people pass on by.
Seeing their lives from the outside.

Over there girls show themselves off
In the hope of being noticed.
Why must they use such a lure?
Boys are not fish.
They cannot be caught like one.
When I look at these girls
I see silly children.
Is that what they see?

A boy walks by with his head down.
He looks so preoccupied.
I wonder why?
Is it simply a bad day?
Or is it something more?
When I look at the boy
I see a sad face thinking hard.
Is that what he sees?

I wonder,
What do people see
When they look at me?
