Perception

Have you ever stood and wondered, Doubting as you pondered? Is what I see Really there before me? Do my eyes deceive? Or is it the brain signals I receive? Nonetheless, I question, The reality of my perception. I look up at the sky. Is it really that high? Is the sky even blue? Or some other hue? The pain in my body that I can’t help but feel, Is it an illusion or something that’s real? What about time, does it even exist? Or is another one of life’s twists? Destiny, fate, or maybe coincidence, who knows, All these events we can’t interpose. There are all these unknown extremes But then again nothing is as it seems.
