Perception

We forgot to live. With everything we already have, we have forgotten to give. Not just to others, to our own selves. And what we think we can give is only on store shelves. It's a simple click away, it's a small price to pay, but what we don't know is that we're wasting life away. Living for the who's who and the what's what on our rectangles. Looking for the likeable pictures with great lighting and perfect angles. Half of us don't know what it's like to feel alive, because we're on life support with cords that go viral online. We have to remember to embrace. Take in the beauty of each place. Remember who you meet and understand the human race. Embed the belief that we are all more than a face. Take note of priceless moments, let your eyes be your lense, the camera be your brain, and let the world be your friend. Don't seek to be well known. We have enough of that. Seek to be worth knowing. Your being is all you have. Where is the life we lost in living? Where is the gift we lost in giving? With everything we already have, we have forgotten to give. When all the rectangles cease to glow, will we remember to live?
