Perceptions

I am this, or I am that All based upon what you see. If I am this, I am most certainly not that, So if you are you than I must be me. Me who is this, has quite a long list Of expectations that go along with being this. However, I cannot meet all the expectations you perceive, Because I am I, and most certainly not you. And I may be this, but I am also that. This is expected to do this, while that is expected to do that, But what if I, the this, wanted to do that? Am I confined by the thing that defines who I am? Am I confined for being this? Are you too in the same predicament as me? Stuck as the that, because of the perceptions we perceive? Are you too confined by the thing that defines who you are? Are you confined for being that? Must you not be you, and I not be me Without these perceptions that we perceive? Are we confined by the things that define who we are? Are we confined by me being this, and by you being that Based upon what our eyes think we perceive?
