Perfect

I know I’m not perfect

I’m not what you want me to be

I’m not pretty or smart

I’m just me

But I don’t mind

Being seen as what I’m not

The words cannot hurt me

My heart can’t be bought

I'll sit here forever

Just so you’ll see

You can never break me

I always fight not flee

So give me two seconds

And I’ll show you the way

That our views are not set in stone

But rather in clay
